        Prenatal Paternity DNA Test Non-invasive

Recent advances in genetic testing have led to the ability to determine the biological father of a child just ten weeks into a pregnancy, through a non-invasive method.

A small amount of fetal DNA is present in the mother’s blood during pregnancy. Scientists are able to extract this fetal DNA through the mother’s blood. This allows for accurate determination of the fetus’ biological father, by simply drawing blood from the mother and the alleged father(s).

Unlike amniocentesis, a Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity Test does not require a needle inserted into the mother’s womb, which can cause several complications in the pregnancy, including miscarriage.

With the Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity Test, a routine blood test will reveal who the biological father of the child is with no complications for the mother or child.
